Map (global view)
The Map screen shows the geographic distribution of your network's CPEs, coloring each point by state (online/offline/signal), so you can spot problems by region.
Difference from the CPE Map tab: here you see all CPEs on the map; on the CPE tab, only that one device's location.
Screen features
| Feature | What it's for |
|---|---|
| Filter (funnel, top-left corner) | Restrict the displayed CPEs (OLT, state, etc.). |
| Zoom + / − | Zoom in/out. |
| Settings (gear) | Map display adjustments. |
| Counter | Total CPEs on the map and % online. |
| Theme (Automatic) | Map style (light/dark/automatic). |
| Legend | What each color/symbol represents. |
| Search by coordinate | Paste lat, long to jump straight to a point. |
What to use it for
- Regional view: identify a concentration of problems in a neighborhood/route (a sign of a network/OLT issue).
- Planning: see customer density by area.
info
CPEs show up on the map when they have a location (via ERP data or registered coordinates). CPEs without a location aren't plotted.
