Events (global view)
The Events screen shows, in real time, the timeline of everything happening on the network — drops, reconnects, configuration errors, LOS, etc. — across all devices.
Difference from the CPE Events tab: here you see events for the whole network; on the CPE tab, only for that one device.
Real-time updates
The list carries the Real-time update badge — new events show up on their own, without needing to reload. Great for following the network during maintenance or an incident.
Filters
Filter by OLT, CPE Serial, time range (Start and End Date/Time), position (Card, Slot, Port, OntID), and Levels (Informational, Warning, High, Critical).
Columns
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Level | Event severity. |
| Description | What happened (e.g., "The loss of GEM channel delineation (LCDGi) occurs"). |
| Device | CPE (position, SN, PPPoE) and source OLT. |
| Detected at | Date/time and relative time. |
What to use it for
- Diagnostics: correlate drops across several customers at the same time (a sign of an OLT/network problem).
- Monitoring: watch the effect of maintenance in real time.
