At Cpehub, we are always looking for innovations and improvements to make life easier for our customers and internet providers. We are excited to present the April 2025 updates.

Below are the notes about the improvements implemented:

[Improvement] Monitoring and Logging System​

Significant improvements to the logging and monitoring system for commands executed on OLTs, enabling better traceability and troubleshooting.

These improvements help technical support identify and resolve issues more quickly and efficiently.

[New] Fiberhome OLT Support​

Added official support for Fiberhome OLTs, including the FHL2100 model and several other models from the brand.

Providers using Fiberhome equipment can now manage their OLTs directly through Cpehub.

[Improvement] License Control System​

Implemented better system license control, ensuring that only environments with valid licenses can access Cpehub.

[Improvement] General Task System Optimization​

We carried out a major update to the system's task processing structure, resulting in better performance and reliability across all OLT and CPE operations.

Key benefits:

  • Better control over concurrent tasks, avoiding duplications and conflicts
  • More detailed and organized logs to make troubleshooting easier
  • More efficient processing of batch commands

[New] CPE Confirmation with SGP​

The CPE confirmation screen now supports fetching information directly from SGP, just as it already did with IXC.

When confirming an ONU, the system can automatically look up and sync the customer's data in SGP.

[New] Automatic Signal Tests​

In the CPE view, the system now runs automatic tests and displays visual alerts about signal quality:

  • OLT Rx/Tx signal level
  • CPE Rx/Tx signal level
  • CPE temperature

Color-coded indicators make it easy to quickly spot signal issues or high temperatures.

[New] Improved Ethernet Port View​

The display of CPE ethernet port information was redesigned, presenting the data more clearly and in a more organized way.

[New] Save OLT Configuration Button​

Added a button in the interface to manually save the OLT configuration when needed.

OLTs also now have automatic configuration backups run at 3:00 AM.

[New] Duplicate SN Report​

New delete button in the duplicate serial number report, making it easier to clean up duplicate records in the system.

[Improvement] CPE Sync​

Improvements to the CPE sync process:

  • The system now tries to obtain the MAC address during sync even when it isn't initially available
  • CPEs that no longer exist on the OLT are automatically removed from the system
  • Fixed logic that identifies blocked CPEs with an ONT ID (they are now correctly marked as active)

[Improvement] Processing Queue Control​

  • Adjustment to keep 2 processes in the default queue, improving throughput
  • Better logic to avoid unnecessary generation of VPN configurations and queues every minute
  • New queue restart process using supervisor instead of PHP artisan, increasing reliability

[Improvement] Permissions and Auditing​

  • Fixes to user permissions and role management
  • The audit system now correctly identifies the author when commands are executed via job or console
  • Better visualization of job counts in queues

[Improvement] Interface​

  • Fixed the loading button in the duplicate SN report
  • Fixed the formatBytes function in Vue
  • Better memory usage in the Vue store
  • Fixed an issue that broke JavaScript in some views
  • Visual improvements to OLT images

[Fix] ERP Integration​

  • Fixes to some SGP sync functions
  • ERP data import now uses ShouldBeUnique logic to avoid duplicate processing

[Fix] FTP - Username Limited to 18 Characters​

Fixed a bug on ZTE OLTs that don't accept FTP usernames longer than 18 characters. The system now automatically limits the length.

[Fix] Various Adjustments​

  • Fixed ACS DHCP lease time
  • Fixed access check in searchCpeMac
  • Fixed the "online" tag in the OltGetAllPonSignal job
  • Better verification when deleting CPEs
  • General code quality fixes

Conclusion​

Our purpose is to improve the system on an ongoing basis, listening to our provider customers and delivering more and more features and improvements.
