At Cpehub, we are always looking for innovations and improvements to make life easier for our customers and internet providers. We are excited to present the May 2025 updates.

Below are the notes about the improvements implemented:

[New] New Model Images

Added new images for various CPE and OLT models, making it easier to visually identify equipment in the system.

The default CPE image was updated and the image verification system was refactored for better performance.

[New] IPv6 Support on Backup FTP Server

The backup FTP server now supports IPv6 configuration, allowing providers to use IPv6 addresses for OLT backup storage.

[Improvement] Automatic ACS Device Cleanup

The system now automatically removes old and inactive devices from the ACS server, keeping the database more organized and efficient.

[Improvement] WiFi Diagnostic Support Check

The system now correctly checks whether the CPE supports WiFi diagnostics before showing the option, avoiding errors when trying to run diagnostics on equipment that doesn't have this feature.

[Fix] OltGetOnuTypes Job

Fixed the OltGetOnuTypes job, which was showing errors in some specific situations.

[New] New Model Images

We continue expanding the equipment image library, adding more CPE and OLT models for better visual identification.

[Fix] Duplicate SN Report

Important fixes to the duplicate serial number report, improving the accuracy and reliability of the information displayed.

[Improvement] Code Quality

General code quality improvements, resulting in greater system stability and performance.

[Improvement] Package Updates

Updated several system packages to newer, more stable versions.

[New] Partner System

Implemented a complete partner management system, allowing providers to manage relationships with other partner providers in an integrated way.

Key features:

  • Linking OLTs to Partners: Specific OLTs can be linked to partners, giving them restricted access to only authorized equipment

  • Linking Users: Users can be linked to partners, ensuring they only see data related to their partner

  • Linking Line and Service Profiles: Line Profiles and Service Profiles can be linked to specific partners, making configuration management easier

  • Linking VLANs: VLANs can be associated with partners, better organizing the network

  • Linking ONU Types: Specific ONU types can be linked to partners

  • Linking CPEs: CPEs can be linked to partners, with automatic validation during ONU confirmation

  • Access Restrictions: The system automatically applies restrictions based on the linked partner, limiting access to data and features as needed

  • Management Interface: New section in the admin menu to manage partners, with features to create, edit, link, and unlink resources

  • Detailed Information: In the view of linked CPEs, the partner's name and an edit button are displayed

Permissions:

  • New permissions related to the partner module were created
  • New "partner" role available in the system

This system is ideal for providers who work with sub-providers or business partners, enabling segmented, controlled management of access and resources.

[New] ZTE - Line Profile and Service Profile Support

ZTE OLTs now have full support for managing Line Profiles and Service Profiles directly through Cpehub, making ONU configuration easier.

[Improvement] Performance and Optimizations

  • Partners are now stored in the Vue store, reducing database requests and improving interface performance
  • Line and service profile components were refactored to share a single Vue component, reducing code duplication
  • Added validations to avoid unnecessary processing on Service Profiles

[Improvement] Driver Updates

Model drivers progressively updated to versions 1.2.4.37, 1.2.4.38, and 1.2.4.39, with various improvements and fixes.

[Fix] Various Fixes
