Engineering

At Cpehub, we are always looking for innovations and improvements to make life easier for our customers and internet providers. We are excited to present the October 2025 updates, which bring important VLAN management features and new reports.

Below are the notes about the improvements implemented:

[New] VLAN Management

Implemented full VLAN management features directly through Cpehub:

  • Create VLANs: Create VLANs on Huawei OLTs directly through the interface
  • Remove VLANs: Delete VLANs when no longer needed
  • Change VLANs: Ability to change existing VLAN configurations

This feature eliminates the need to access the OLT via CLI to manage VLANs, centralizing everything in Cpehub.

[New] Duplicate Reports

Two new reports to identify duplicates in the system:

  • Duplicate MACs Report: Identifies CPEs with a duplicate MAC address
  • Duplicate Users Report: Identifies duplicate PPPoE users

These reports make it easier to identify and fix configuration issues.

[New] Remote Access to CPEs

New CpeRemote component that makes remote access to equipment easier for diagnostics and configuration.

[New] High-Priority ACS Queue

Created a dedicated queue (acs-high) to run priority ACS jobs:

  • Sync of all ESNs
  • User requests

This ensures important commands are processed quickly without waiting in long queues.

[New] Support for Nokia/Alcatel Models

  • G-1425G-A and G-1425G-B: Added images and support for these models
  • PON Signal via ACS: PON signal sync for Nokia Alcatel models

[New] ESN Sync Button in ACS

Added a button on the ACS settings page to request the sync of all ESNs (Equipment Serial Numbers) at once.

[Improvement] Email Normalization

  • Login emails are now automatically converted to lowercase with spaces removed
  • Specific message shown when an incorrect email is entered

[Improvement] Automation Variables

New, more flexible variable format, allowing:

  • 2-digit variables
  • Better formatting and display

[Improvement] Variable Access

Better access to and handling of variables in the system, making advanced configurations easier.

[Improvement] WiFi Accordions

Visual improvements to the accordions (expandable panels) for CPE WiFi information.

[Improvement] CSP (Content Security Policy)

Adjustments to content security policies for better compatibility and security.

[Improvement] Online Device Detection via ACS

Better detection of online/offline status for devices managed via ACS.

[Fix] ACS Password Modal

Fixed the ACS password change modal, which was not showing the current value.

[Fix] ZTE WiFi Password

Fixed the path for the WiFi password on ZTE equipment.

[Fix] Access Parameters

Fixed parameter access in some system functions.

[Fix] User Sync

Fixes to the sync and display of CPE users.

[Improvement] Automated Tests

Implementation of several automated tests:

  • Login tests
  • OLT tests
  • Email normalization tests
  • Scripts and ONU type tests
  • Cypress infrastructure for interface tests

[Improvement] Registered Trademark

Added registered trademark notice in the system's footer.

[Improvement] New Model Images

Added images for several new models (F6201B, F6600P, XX530v, XC220, among others).

[Improvement] Driver Update
