At Cpehub, we are always looking for innovations and improvements to make life easier for our customers and internet providers. We are excited to present the September 2025 updates, which bring significant technical modernization and new ACS features.

Below are the notes about the improvements implemented:

[New] Interface Modernization​

We started a major technical modernization project for the system's interface, migrating components to a more modern standard:

  • Better performance and lower memory usage
  • More organized, maintainable code
  • Foundation for future advanced features

This update is transparent to the user but brings stability and performance benefits across the whole system.

[New] PON Signal Sync via ACS​

The system can now sync PON signal information directly via ACS (TR-069) for:

  • ZTE ONUs: PON signal sync
  • Huawei ONUs: PON signal sync

This feature allows getting signal information even when the OLT is temporarily unreachable.

[New] LTE Information​

For CPEs with an LTE/4G modem, the system now shows detailed information about the mobile connection, including signal quality and carrier.

[New] TR-181 WiFi Information​

Improved support for TR-181 devices, showing detailed information about configured WiFi networks.

[New] Fiberhome Site Survey​

Fiberhome ONUs now support the site survey feature (diagnosing neighboring WiFi networks), allowing interference analysis.

[New] Fiberhome WiFi Diagnostics​

Implemented full WiFi diagnostics for Fiberhome equipment, including channel analysis and signal strength.

[New] ACS Parameters Shown on CPE​

In the CPE view, it's now possible to see the equipment's ACS parameters, making advanced diagnostics and configuration easier.

Support for viewing and syncing users on TP-Link routers via ACS.

[Improvement] Error Manager in CPE Confirmation​

Improvements to error handling during the ONU confirmation process, with clearer and more detailed messages.

[Improvement] ACS Automations​

  • Numeric Values: Better handling of filters and numeric values in automations
  • Reboot and Reset: Fixes to reboot and reset actions via automations
  • Automatic ERP Search: The system always fetches up-to-date ERP data while running automations

[Improvement] CPE Sync​

  • Better ZTE Logic: Significant optimization of the CPE sync process on ZTE OLTs
  • Better General Logic: The OLTGetCpes process was optimized for better performance
  • AutoFind on High-Priority Queue: The auto-discovery process now runs on a priority queue

[Improvement] Command Log​

  • No Duplicate Saves: The system no longer saves duplicate command logs, saving space
  • Public Decoding: The log decoding function is now public, making integrations easier

[Improvement] Auditing​

  • No Signal Auditing: rxSignal updates are no longer audited, reducing log volume

[Fix] LOS Filter​

Fixed the CPE LOS filter, which was not working correctly.

[Fix] ZTE Migration​

Fixed CPE migration on ZTE OLTs, which had issues in some scenarios.

[Fix] Captcha​

Emergency fix for the login screen captcha, which was blocking access.

[Fix] ONU Sync​

  • Ensured newly confirmed ONUs correctly receive the ONTID
  • Fixed the removal of ONUs awaiting confirmation during sync

[Fix] Various Fixes​

  • Fixed the ACS firmware upgrade
  • Fixed the tags modal, which was not closing correctly
  • Fixed the ACSGetPonSignal job
  • Better auditing of job information

[Improvement] New Model Images​

Added images for several new CPE models.

[Improvement] Driver Update​

Model drivers progressively updated to versions up to 1.2.4.56 with various improvements and fixes.

Conclusion​

Our purpose is to improve the system on an ongoing basis, listening to our provider customers and delivering more and more features and improvements.
