At Cpehub, we are always looking for innovations and improvements to make life easier for our customers and internet providers. We are excited to present the December 2025 updates, which mark a major modernization with two-factor authentication and a massive migration to a new interface.

Below are the notes about the improvements implemented:

[New] Framework Upgrade​

The framework underlying Cpehub was updated, bringing:

  • Better performance
  • Greater security
  • More modern features
  • A solid foundation for future functionality

[New] Passkey and 2FA Authentication​

Implemented a modern authentication system:

  • Passkeys: Passwordless authentication using biometrics or a security key (FIDO2 standard)
  • 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication): Two-factor authentication for greater security
  • Compatible with all devices: Works on computers, phones, and tablets

This feature significantly increases the security of access to the system.

[New] Massive Migration to the New Interface​

Practically the entire system was migrated to the new interface:

Newly migrated modules:

  • Cpes (Listing and View)
  • Users
  • Automations
  • Config (Settings)
  • Scripts
  • Firmwares
  • Tags
  • Variables
  • Reports
  • CTOs
  • Login and authentication pages
  • User profile

Result:

  • Dramatically faster system
  • Fluid navigation without reloads
  • Superior user experience
  • Lower data consumption

[New] VPNs with IPsec Support​

The VPN management system was redesigned with:

  • L2TP/IPsec support
  • Improved management workflow

[New] New Year's Fireworks​

The system displays fireworks during the New Year period as a celebration (a fun feature to celebrate with customers). ;D

[New] New Task Queue Manager​

Implemented a new Task Queue Manager for advanced queue management:

  • Separate Queues: olts (normal and high), acs, snmp-trap, default
  • Real-Time Monitoring: View of running jobs
  • Auto-scaling: Automatic worker adjustment based on demand
  • Metrics: Detailed performance statistics

[New] Command Logs Interface​

New interface to view logs of commands executed on OLTs, making auditing and troubleshooting easier.

[New] SNMP Client​

New SNMP client developed by Cpehub for better performance when receiving large volumes of SNMP Traps.

[New] Improved Jobs System​

  • Jobs Run in Specific Queues: olts-high, olts-normal, acs, acs-high, snmp-trap
  • Multiple Processes: Up to 2 processes per OLT simultaneously
  • Automatic Cleanup: Removal of old logs, old backups, and old traps
  • Time in Milliseconds: Precise display of execution time

[Improvement] New Map​

The CPE map was completely redesigned with:

  • Better performance
  • Real-time status updates
  • More modern interface

[Improvement] CPEs Interface​

  • Search by MAC without ":": Allows searching for a MAC by typing only numbers
  • Auto Loading: Listing loads automatically
  • Better Status Badge: Reusable component to display status
  • Improved Pagination: Displays up to 128 ONUs per page
  • Status Filters: Improved filters for different CPE statuses

[Improvement] Rename CPEs​

Implemented a backend job to rename CPEs directly from the interface.

[Improvement] Huawei Synchronization​

  • No Duplicates: Definitive fix for CPE duplication
  • Better Status: Better status detection and updates
  • Removal of the "online" Column: Status is now more accurate and based on multiple factors

[Improvement] ERP Performance​

  • Optimized Import All: Full ERP import job optimized
  • IXC Get CTO: Improvements to CTO search
  • New Jobs for Long Running Tasks: Dedicated jobs for long-running operations

[Improvement] Content Security Policy (CSP)​

Content security policy adjusted for:

  • Greater security
  • Compatibility with Google reCAPTCHA
  • Allowing WebSockets

[Improvement] Unified Versioning​

Unified and automated versioning system across the entire project.

[Improvement] Sync Timers​

Better timing of synchronization jobs to avoid overload.

[Improvement] Extended Session​

Session time increased to 10 hours (600 minutes), reducing frequent disconnections.

[Fix] CPE Observer​

Fixed an observer that was not generating events correctly.

[Fix] WiFi Diagnostic Accordion​

Fixed the WiFi diagnostic accordion that was not opening correctly.

[Fix] WiFi Interference​

Fixed the interference status in the WiFi neighborhood diagnostic.

Fixed user search that was not working correctly.

[Fix] CPE Loading​

Fixed a situation where the CPE would not load when the ACS did not respond.

[Fix] Profile Update​

Fixed an issue that always requested a password when updating the profile.

[Fix] CPE Status in CpeConfirm​

Fixed status display on the CPE confirmation screen.

[Fix] Various Pagination Issues​

Fixes to pagination in: Alarms, Automations, Firmwares, Scripts, Variables, CTOs.

[Removal] Legacy Code​

Removed old code that is no longer used:

  • Old XML functions
  • Modules migrated to Inertia
  • Old calculators
  • Unnecessary imports

[Improvement] Package Updates​

Packages updated to newer, more secure versions.

[Improvement] Driver Updates​

Model drivers updated with various improvements and fixes.

Conclusion​

Our purpose is to improve the system on an ongoing basis, listening to our provider customers and delivering more and more features and improvements.
