At Cpehub, we are always looking for innovations and improvements to make life easier for our customers and internet providers. We are excited to begin rolling out the update to version v1.4.20 across environments.

Below are the notes about the new version:

[Improvement] Updated Huawei Driver​

The Huawei Driver was updated to a new structure. This update brought significant performance improvements and also enables communication via Telnet.

SSH command execution time was reduced by an average of about 60%.

[New] Huawei OLT - Powered-Off ONUs​

Huawei OLTs can now display ONUs that are offline due to a power outage

[Improvement] CPE Sync and Discovery Logic​

In some situations, if one or more ONUs had been manually changed on the OLT, conflicts would occur that generated execution errors and prevented certain configurations from being performed.

The process logic was updated to handle these situations, regardless of where the change originated.

[Improvement] Centralized Error Monitoring​

We deployed a new error monitoring service across all customers, with detailed logs and performance metrics, allowing us to identify issues in real time and start fixing them quickly.

[Fix] IXC - Login with ID 0​

Some providers have records with ID set to 0 instead of an empty field, which was causing some sync errors; this situation was fixed.

[Fix] IXC - Geolocation​

The geolocation import logic was updated; it can now be obtained from the Fiber ONU, the Login, or the customer record (in that order).

[Fix] General​

We made several code quality fixes and improvements across various system modules and the driver system.

Conclusion​

Our purpose is to improve the system on an ongoing basis, listening to our provider customers and delivering more and more features and improvements.
