At Cpehub, we are always looking for innovations and improvements to make life easier for our customers and internet providers. We are excited to begin rolling out the update to version v1.4.17 across environments.

Below are the notes about the new version:

Changes​

Here are the changes and their descriptions:

[Fix] Incorrect signal level for ONUs in LOS (Zte)​

In a specific situation, an ONU's status was changed to LOS by the OLT, which automatically resulted in a -40dBm signal. However, the system was displaying the pre-LOS history in the signal report; this has been fixed. When LOS is detected, the signal is now automatically updated to -40dBm.

[Fix] SSH response time on ZTE OLTs​

Customers reported and we noticed a delay in task execution responses on ZTE OLTs. After analysis, we found a moment in the SSH connection termination that was causing a timeout — that is, the connection was only closed after the timeout period, causing the slowdown. SSH commands on ZTE OLTs are now about 10 seconds faster.

[Fix] "Disconnected" status on the Dashboard​

A port change in the broadcast event notification service caused an incorrect "Disconnected" alert, even when the user had a connection. This display has been fixed.

[Fix] Error removing CPE from the ACS Server​

The command to delete a CPE from the ACS server didn't trigger any action. We identified that this happened when the CPE had already been manually deleted on the ACS server. We improved the interface so the option to delete from the ACS server is only shown if the CPE still exists on the ACS server; otherwise, it will only be possible to remove it from Cpehub.

[Fix] Name change during confirmation​

After confirming an ONU, the system was overwriting the information with incorrect data; this process has been fixed.

[Fix] Automation script during confirmation​

In a specific situation, the system was not generating the configuration script at the time of ONU confirmation on ZTE OLTs; this process has been fixed.

[Improvement] Get configuration version on ZTE OLT​

The display layout for the ONU's configuration on the OLT has been adjusted and now shows more information in a more organized way.

In addition, a "Refresh" button was added to reload the configuration.

[Improvement] Configuration option during ONU confirmation​

When the option to configure the ONU via Script was selected, the system displayed two options — one for the script and another a "Finish" button — causing confusion about which one should be used. We adjusted the layout so the finish button is only shown when the "Configure manually" option is selected.

[Improvement] Zte 300 Firmware V2.1.0​

Firmware V2.1.0 for the Zte 300 is now shown as a certified version of the system.

[Improvement] Menu renamed​

The "Jobs" menu was renamed to "Execution Queue."

[Improvement] XML Config menu on CPEs​

The menu for sending configurations via XML is now only shown on Huawei OLTs.

[New] Tx and RX signal from the ZTE OLT​

Now, in addition to the ONU's signal level information, we also load the OLT's data, providing the signal level the OLT is transmitting and receiving from the ONU:
