Deployment checklist
Gather everything on this list before you start configuring Cpehub. Having these items ready avoids back-and-forth and makes deployment much faster. Check off items as you confirm them — this is just a visual aid, so reloading the page unchecks everything again.
Access and network
- Access to the Cpehub dashboard (administrator username and password).
- Public IP or endpoint for the VPN tunnel between your network and Cpehub (WireGuard, IPSec/L2TP, or OpenVPN — coming soon).
- A router/server on your side to terminate the VPN (Mikrotik, Linux, or Docker).
- Firewall rules opened for VPN traffic and to reach the OLTs.
For each OLT
- Manufacturer and model (e.g.: Huawei MA5683T, ZTE C650).
- Management IP of the OLT (IPv4 or IPv6) reachable through the VPN.
- Console access: protocol (SSH or Telnet), port, username, and password. If there's an enable password, have that too.
- SNMP: port (default 161) and the read-only community string.
- Ability to configure SNMP Trap on the OLT pointing to Cpehub (for real-time events).
ERP integration
- Which ERP you use (IXC, SGP, or Hubsoft).
- ERP API credentials (Token for IXC/SGP; Client ID/Secret + username/password for Hubsoft), generated in the ERP itself.
- ERP URL/address.
ACS / TR-069
- Decide how the CPEs will find the ACS: automatic configuration, via OLT (OMCI), via firmware preset, or via DHCP Option 43.
- CPE models in use and whether they support TR-069.
tip
You don't need 100% before starting. The minimum to see something working is: VPN + 1 registered OLT. The rest (ERP, ACS) you add afterward.
Next step
With the checklist in hand, start with Communication (VPN) and then register your first OLT.
