Manage Firmwares

In Administration → Firmwares you maintain CPE firmwares and can update them remotely via TR-069.

What it's for

• Standardize the firmware version across the base (every device of a model on the same approved version).
• Fix known firmware bugs that cause instability.

Typical flow

1. Upload the firmware file approved by the ISP.
2. Associate it with the corresponding model.
3. Apply the update — individually, in bulk, or via automation (e.g.: update on the device's first connection).

warning

Firmware update is a sensitive operation: it leaves the device unavailable for a few minutes and, if interrupted, can damage the CPE. Apply it in a controlled way and approve the version beforehand.
