Users
Goal: create and manage the people who access Cpehub, defining what each one can do through roles.
In Administration → Users you see all the account's users, whether they're active, and their email verification status.
List columns
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Active | Whether the user can access the system. |
| Name | User's name. |
| Login email and status (Verified / Email not verified). | |
| Created at | When it was created. |
| Options | Actions menu (edit, activate/deactivate, etc.). |
Creating a user
-
Click + Add User.
-
Fill out the form:
- Active — leave it on so the user can already access the system.
- Send password by email? — if on, the system emails the access details.
- Name and Email (login).
- Password — leave blank to auto-generate (recommended when sending by email).
- Roles — select one or more roles; this defines the user's permissions.
-
Click Save. The user automatically receives an email with the access details.
Activating / deactivating
Use the Active column or the Actions menu. An inactive user can no longer log in — no need to delete them.
tip
Instead of granting individual permissions, Cpehub works with roles: you define the permissions on the role and just assign the user to the right role. See Roles & permissions.
